2-PAPER QUILLING:
Like many forms of crafts, paper quilling can trace its origins back hundreds of years to at least the 15th century. It is believed to have been created by French and Italian nuns and used to decorate religious objects in an effort to save money. It is the art of cutting paper into long thin strips, rolling and pinching the pieces into the different shapes, and then gluing the shapes together to form decorative art.Paper quilling projects can be used to decorate cards, boxes, gift bags, picture frames,or even be made into 3D stand-alone pieces.

As an art quilling used to be extremely popular in 1970's and 80's,gradually faded in between ,and has made a brilliant comeback in the recent years.Paper quilling is not a very difficult skill to master.you can get a lot done just with a few simple tools. The hobby is also a great way to adorn cards, invitations, and jewelry boxes. The rise in popularity is also attributed to the fact that this craft can be easy to learn for both kids and adults.
